Job summary

Ochsner Health in Louisiana seeks an Environmental Services Worker under the Environmental Services Supervisor to perform project cleaning and support activities across patient, clinical, and administrative areas. The role requires following instructions, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean hospital environment.

• Basic knowledge of VCT and carpet floor care; ability to read, write and speak English to follow instructions.

Education

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Ability to read, write and speak / understand verbal communication in English in order to follow instructions and perform daily tasks.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning and cleaning equipment/supplies.
• Ability to work flexible schedule when needed.
• Ability to listen and take direction and complete job tasks with minimal supervision.
