Guthrie Health is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Aide to keep patient areas clean, safe and welcoming in Waverly, NY. You’ll perform housekeeping tasks across inpatient, outpatient and office spaces, following department procedures and safety guidelines to support high-quality patient care.

As a valued member of Environmental Services, you’ll handle cleaning, disinfection, waste management and equipment upkeep with attention to detail and excellent service.

Formación

• High school graduate preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping helpful.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• On the job training is provided.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness, vacuum, wash walls, wash windows, dust, mop floors, damp dust furniture.
• Pick up trash and transport to designated areas.
• Keep equipment, carts, and janitor closets clean on a daily basis.
• Determine the dilution ratio of germicidal cleaning solutions.
• Shows initiative in learning and developing skills in use of all equipment in the department.
• Assists in the orientation of new employees in the department.
• Utilizes proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
• Demonstrates willingness to accept non-routine work assignments as required.
• Demonstrates effective time management.
• Takes initiative in doing extra work within areas of responsibility such as spot clean walls, baseboards, etc.

Position Summary:

Education, License & Cert:
