Job summary

The Masonic Home is seeking a detail-oriented housekeeper to perform assigned housekeeping tasks across the facility, including resident rooms and common areas, with emphasis on cleanliness and safety.

The role requires reading and following schedules, English literacy, and at least six months of related experience; High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, 401K contributions, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience in a comparable position.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions from supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal housekeeping schedules and instructions from Supervisor or Manager.
• Cleans assigned common areas and resident apartments.
• Disinfect areas including furniture, walls, restrooms, offices and resident rooms.
• Remove trash from apartments and common areas and relines containers.
• Report safety issues and malfunctions to supervisor or director.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and closet in a clean, safe manner.
