Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment and ensure compliance with regulations. The role supports the healing atmosphere and patient well‑being while upholding our quality standards.

The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and shifts may include evenings or nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across all hospital areas according to established quality standards and regulations.
• Utilize cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, floor polishers, and other tools.
• Handle general office equipment and keep work area tidy.
