Job summary

Encompass Health in Colorado is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment aligned with regulatory standards and our commitment to healing.

You will use equipment such as vacuums, floor polishers, and dusters, keep public and patient areas tidy, and communicate clearly with team members to uphold quality. This is a full-time role within our nationwide post-acute care network.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: high school diploma or GED with preferred housekeeping experience.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards in a healthcare setting is expected.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule including weekdays/weekends/evenings/nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across all hospital areas according to established quality standards and regulations.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, floor polishers, and dusters.
• Handle general office equipment and keep work environment tidy and organized.
• Demonstrate good communication and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and exposure risks.
