Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services team member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment. This entry-level role requires a high school diploma or GED and good English comprehension.

You will perform a variety of room cleaning, waste disposal, surface sanitation, and assist with moves and setup tasks as needed. The position is full-time and on-site with a focus on patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required; must read/write/understand English at an 8th-grade level.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong customer focus skills and knowledge of sanitation & infection control techniques.
• Good organizational skills and knowledge of institutional equipment and supplies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• High School education/General Education Development (GED) required. Must be able to read, write and understand English at an eighth grade level. Must be able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions. Strong costumer focus skills. Should have knowledge of sanitation and infection control techniques. Good organizational skills. Knowledge of institutional equipment and supplies.
• Entry-level position. No prior experience required.

• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50lbs. Performance if job duties require standing, bending, and walking for duration of an 8-hour shift. Assist with moves and set-ups to deliver the service we provide. Performs all other duties as assigned.
