Job Description:

The Environmental Services position maintains a clean, sanitary, and organized environment. They ensure facilities are well-stocked, organized, and sanitary. When not cleaning, the employee will be assisting with the daily residential assistant duties.

Essential Functions:

• - Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of floors
• - In charge treatments such as stain-removal as needed
• - Dispose of trash from bins and containers
• - Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
• - Scrub sinks and toilets in bathrooms
• - Clean windows, mirrors, and counters as needed
• - Keeps all public spaces neat and tidy
• - Sanitize all doorknobs, counters, and hard surfaces
• - Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
• - Keeps inventory of needed supplies
• - Completes all facility laundry
• - Conduct and document safety checks
• - Other duties as assigned

• - Ability to follow verbal directions

Work Environment:

Office and healthcare setting with clients and other employees present.

• - Working indoors primarily and outdoors occasionally
• - May walk on slippery and uneven walking surfaces

• - Typical office and outside atmosphere
• - Indoor and outdoor, using some cleaning supplies and tools

Physical Demands:

• - Physically able to push up to 30 lbs
• - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• - Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time
• - Ability to go up and down stairs multiple times per day

Travel Required:

• - Ability to travel to various offices or facility locations

Qualifications

Required education and experience :
