Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring Environmental Services Technicians to keep our stores looking their best through thorough housekeeping and janitorial work. Full-time schedules are four 10-hour days; part-time schedules cover the remaining three days, also 10 hours each.

You will dust, mop, sweep, polish, and be trained to use buffers and floor scrubbers, with responsibilities including trash and bathroom cleaning, all while complying with ISO regulations and state guidelines to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• One+ years in housekeeping, janitorial or custodian work.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of pushing/pulling and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Keep stores clean: dust, mop, sweep and polish floors.
• Operate buffers and floor scrubbers as trained.
• Handle trash and bathroom cleaning as part of duties.

Environmental Services Technician – Full Time AND Part Time Available

We are now offeringa full time and a part timeEnvironmental Services Technician (EST) position at our store. You’ll be responsible for making the store look it’s best to our customers, through housekeeping and janitorial work. The Full Time EST will work a set schedule of 4 ten hour days in a row, while the Part Time EST will work the remaining 3 days, also ten hours a day.

What you’ll be doing:

Everything possible to keep our stores clean – that means dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing. You’ll be trained to use buffers and floor scrubbers. Trash? Bathrooms? Those will be your responsibility as well. You’ll be given task outlines for all of your duties, and we comply with numerous ISO regulations, company and state policies to ensure that you do your work in a way that is both safe and secure.
