Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming care environment at our Gilbert, AZ campus. You will perform daily cleaning, disinfection, and waste management while engaging with patients, visitors, and staff to support infection prevention and patient experience.
Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and prior healthcare experience.
As our Environmental Service Technician, you will help be r esponsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assigned responsibilities, you will have contact/interactions with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. You will also be responsiblefor ensuring timely room turnovers related to patient throughout within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. The Environmental Services Technician, in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention and patient experience.
Every day you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and aesthetically pleasing environment in a healthcare setting.
