Mercy is seeking an Advanced Environmental Services Technician to ensure hospital cleanliness, safety, and infection control. The role requires adherence to infection control standards and the ability to perform manual cleaning tasks in a clinical environment.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in hospital environmental services and customer service is preferred; candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Position Details
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Prior hospital environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.
Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
