Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Environmental Service Aide to help keep rooms and furnishings clean and sanitary across the hospital. You will follow established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and patient safety.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to learn quickly, a sense of accountability, and a teamwork mindset. Preferred experience in environmental service or housekeeping, and a High School diploma

The Environmental Service Aide is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing room and furnishings in assigned work area, following established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital.
