Job summary

Total Cleaning is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to provide high quality housekeeping in a hospital setting, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for patients, visitors and staff. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to infection control.

Based in Miami Lakes, work Saturdays and Sundays 12 noon to 12 am (24 hours per week). A high school diploma, at least 1 year in Environmental Services, flexibility, and strong customer service are essential.

• Reports inventory levels and equipment issues to EVS management.
• Provides high-level customer service at all times.
• Supports hospital staff with housekeeping tasks.

Job description

As Environmental Services Associate you will be responsible for providing the highest quality of housekeeping services to the hospital. You will strive to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the patients, visitors and staff by utilizing available resources and basic housekeeping skills.

Schedule and Location

Miami Lakes - Saturday and Sunday 12noon-12am (24 hours/weekly).

We are looking for someone who is dedicated, detailed oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional quality.

What You’ll Do

• Under the direction of the EVS Management is responsible for completing general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving and deep cleaning.
• Ensures that all tasks are completed safely, and in strict adherence to Infection Control.
• Ensures all trash is removed and properly placed in the appropriate containers throughout shift and prior to end of shift.
• Contributes to a safe, clean, and uncontaminated environment by ensuring work areas are kept clean, sanitized, and orderly.
• Knowledge and understanding of all products/chemicals to be used on a daily basis for areas assigned.
• Responsible for reporting inventory levels when running low and any issues with equipment to EVS Management team.
• Provides the highest level of customer service at all times.
