Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Scientist III to support data collection, assessment, documentation, and field supervision across multiple project sites. You will mentor staff and collaborate with Project Managers to drive successful outcomes.

You will lead environmental site investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with permit and report preparation while contributing to strategic project planning and client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• 7–15 years of experience working on environmental projects or in an environmental analytical lab.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and able to pass drug and background screening.
• Ability to lead projects and work with multi‑disciplined teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per guidelines.
• Coordinate data collection and evaluation to support project objectives.
• Prepare technical evaluations using applicable regulations (RCRA, NPDES, CWA).
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff for documentation.
• Review permits, plans, reports to meet compliance and restoration objectives.
• Lead project planning and RFP responses.
