LaBella is currently looking to hire an Environmental Scientist / Geologist / Engineer in our growing, multi-disciplinary, Brooklyn, NY office. Our growing Brooklyn office has the feel of a boutique consultancy with the resources of a larger‑sized firm. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join a dynamic team working on exciting, multi‑phase, technically engaging, and impactful projects. The successful candidate will perform field work including groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and surface water sampling, submit samples to a laboratory for analysis, manage and evaluate field and lab data, supervise contractors and drillers, and support the preparation of reports.
This individual will assist with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, support environmental investigations and remediation at E‑Designation and New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program projects throughout the 5‑boroughs and the NYC Metro‑plitan area, and support project managers on various projects. The ideal candidate will enjoy a mix of office and field time and will have an opportunity to grow as a professional under the tutelage of experienced environmental professionals.

B.S. degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
M.S. preferred but not required.
Salary Range:
$50,000–$72,000, commensurate with experience, technical background, field capabilities, certifications, and demonstrated ability to support field work, data management, mapping, and report preparation.
