Job summary

GeoTek Engineering & Testing Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist to support environmental project managers and develop into a project manager role. The position includes both office and field work, with some field work requiring overnight stays.

The role involves collecting soil, water, and air samples, monitoring groundwater, and responding to spills. Phases I and II ESAs and report preparation are also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, geology or science required.
• Strong problem-solving, math, attention to detail; verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Good mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting skills.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform duties in outside weather conditions including cold and heat/humidity.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Motivated and willing to learn and be challenged.
