Weston Solutions, Inc. in Auburn, AL is seeking an entry‑level Environmental Scientist – Air Testing Specialist to join the Integrated Air Services group.

You will help conduct emissions testing directly from industrial sources and/or ambient air using mobile laboratory instrumentation. The role offers hands‑on EPA/ASTM method experience, safety training, and opportunities to travel up to 80% in the Southeast while advancing toward emissions certifications and career growth in environmental

Qualifications

• BS or AS in Environmental Science, Physical Science, or Engineering preferred.
• Testing experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job safety and technical training provided.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn technical sampling techniques, work with a team, work outdoors at elevation, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform emissions testing procedures using EPA or ASTM methodologies.
• Travel up to 80%, primarily within the Southeast; some assignments in other U.S. regions; travel expenses covered.

Location

Auburn, AL

Please note: Must be comfortable working at heights (up to 75 feet minimum), with regular responsibilities that include climbing stacks and performing work on elevated structures.

Expected Outcomes:

• Perform scientific emissions testing procedures utilizing EPA or ASTM Test Methodologies.
• Work safely in a positive enterprise and team environment.
• Travel up to 80%, primarily within the Southeast Region, with potential assignments in other U.S. regions. This typically involves being away Monday through Friday, with all travel expenses covered by the company.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• BS or AS degree in Environmental Science, Physical Science, or Engineering preferred. Technical High School graduates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Testing experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job technical and safety training provided.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $41,401 - $54,261 - $67,017
