U.S. Army Environmental Science Officer (72D) identifies and addresses health hazards that Soldiers and their families could encounter. This role blends environmental science and engineering with public health to protect those who serve.

As an Environmental Science / Engineering Officer, you may supervise research, assess environmental health risks, and develop policies and programs to ensure safety. Army Reserve options and extensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from CEPH-accredited program in public health or ABET-accredited program in environmental engineering.
• U.S. citizen for Active Duty service.
• Permanent U.S. residency required for Army Reserve.

Eligibility Requirements

• - Must have a bachelor’s degree from an educational program accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health with a major in a public-health-relevant field or a bachelor’s degree from a program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology with a major in an environmental engineering-relevant field
• - Must be a U.S. citizen for Active Duty
• - Must have at least a permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
