Job summary

Collin College is seeking adjunct professors for Environmental Science to prepare and deliver coursework across campus locations. Teaching assignments may occur on multiple campuses or off-site, with potential evening and weekend sessions.

Dual credit course possibilities exist, subject to district needs. The role requires a Master’s in Environmental Science or an equivalent with 18 graduate hours in the discipline; for lab sections, a Bachelor’s in the field is needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline/qualifying field.
• For lab sections, a Bachelor's degree in the discipline/qualifying field.
• Teaching experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in accordance with the schedule and approved syllabi.
• Deliver coursework at college campuses or off-site locations; evenings/weekends may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain college policies.
