Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking personnel to assist in cleaning and maintaining production equipment and facilities at our Atlanta-area locations. The role involves disassembling and reassembling equipment, applying chemicals, and ensuring clean and safe wash-down areas, storage and trash facilities.

Candidates must be 18+, capable of lifting 50+ lbs, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. GMP awareness and teamwork are essential, with a focus on safety and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing and reassembling production equipment.
• Applying chemicals on equipment and in environmental areas.
• Cleaning wash down areas, trash docks, and storage spaces.
• Maintaining cleanliness of walls, vents, doors, drains, and trash cans.
• Ensuring proper organization of kitchen, trash docks, and storage areas.
• Assisting with maintenance of chemical storage areas.
• Supporting housekeeping tasks as needed in the facility.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. The bonus for this position is 8 hours of pay when a new associate joins Publix prior to July 1. There is no bonus in the first year for associates hired after July 1. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to 8 hours’ pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
