Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in Maynard, MA seeks a Courier to handle the safe pickup, transport, and delivery of environmental samples and materials. The role supports laboratory operations and data integrity, ensuring timely, accurate service and compliance with transport procedures.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday 1st shift (40 hours/week) with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour, reflecting location, experience, and internal equity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain licenses.
• Knowledge of safe driving and sample transport principles.
• Good communication with internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to learn organizational policies and transportation protocols.
• Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation.
• Strong judgment, professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials.
• Review and process documents and data for sample pickup and delivery.
• Prepare vehicle for daily operations including safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Support staff and management on sample transport procedures.
• Research issues and suggest process improvements to resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations; escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to team efficiency through collaboration and ideas.
• Align with Pace values to promote a positive, customer-focused environment.
