Job summary

Triton Environmental, LLC, a True Environmental firm, is seeking a Project Manager to join our Regulatory Compliance team in Guilford, Connecticut. The role leads environmental regulatory projects, prepares reports, permit applications, and compliance plans.

You will collaborate with teammates to review documents, conduct field work as needed, and coordinate schedules to meet deadlines. The position requires CHMM certification, familiarity with CAA, CWA, RCRA, and OSHA programs, and strong

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in EHS Consulting or similar field.
  • Project management experience including deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
  • This role includes fit for work testing with Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
  • Familiarity with environmental laws and programs (CAA, CWA, RCRA, TRI, TSCA).
  • Familiarity with OSHA health and safety programs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Manage environmental regulatory compliance projects, developing reports, permit applications, and compliance plans.
  • Collaborate with other regulatory compliance team members to review and revise written work products.
  • Complete field work to gather necessary information to develop inspection reports, permit applications, or compliance plans.
  • Coordinate scheduling to meet client’s regulatory compliance deadlines.
  • Analyze data, prepare client reports, and upload results into state and federal online reporting systems.
  • Review and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to apply to a range of client’s operations, equipment, and circumstances.
  • Respond to requests from clients or regulators on data or information provided in communications, reports, etc.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering or other related fields.
  • 5 years of experience working in EHS Consulting or similar field.
  • Project management experience including deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
  • This role will require the successful completion of fit for work testing which includes Drug & Alcohol testing.

  • Familiarity with environmental laws and associated regulatory programs, such as: CAA, CWA, RCRA, TRI, TSCA.
