Job summary

Serán BioScience seeks a microbiologist to support Environmental Monitoring and Microbiology in a GMP manufacturing setting. The role focuses on routine monitoring, utility testing, and cleaning verification to ensure regulatory compliance. Preference given to candidates with regulatory knowledge and pharma environment experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is required; microbiology preferred.
• 1 year of environmental monitoring/microbiological testing in manufacturing for Scientist I.
• 2+ years GMP experience and 3–5 years preferred for Scientist II.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine environmental monitoring sampling and testing (air, surface, particulates) in non-sterile and aseptic environments.
• Perform QC testing of utilities (TOC, Conductivity, Endotoxin, Bioburden) and gas systems.
• Grow promotion testing and qualification to support monitoring strategy.
• Log samples and run tests to support cleaning verification and manufacturing qualification.
