Job summary

Arizona Department of Health Services seeks a Program Manager to lead the Environmental Public Health Tracking program within the Office of Environmental Epidemiology. This role covers supervision of epidemiologists and staff, data integration, analyses, reporting, and dissemination to support public health practice.

The ideal candidate will have an MPH in Epidemiology with 2+ years in public health and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, plus SAS experience.

Qualifications

• Master's in public health with epidemiology focus.
• Two years of professional experience in public health.
• One year of supervisory/managerial duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise epidemiologists and staff conducting Environmental Public Health Tracking activities.
• Lead program planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee data acquisition, integration, and analysis from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with GIS and IT teams to support tracking activities and program needs.
• Prepare grants, proposals, and grant reports.
