Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an Environmental Project Manager for our Cleveland, OH area.

You will lead project teams delivering environmental services including assessments, subsurface investigations, remediation, and permitting, while guiding senior staff and ensuring QA on deliverables. You will also develop proposals and budgets, manage safety and subcontractors, and interact with clients and government officials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
• PE or PG licensure a plus.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, etc.).
• Experience in site assessment and remediation; ability to interpret data and make project recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams delivering environmental services such as assessments, subsurface investigations, and remediation.
• Provide senior direction and QA reviews on project deliverables.
• Develop proposals and project budgets; manage subcontractors and safety compliance.
• Interact with clients, laboratories, and government officials.
• Mentor staff and support career development.
• Support business development and client relationships.
