Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking an Environmental Project Manager in Questa, NM to support the Chevron Mining Portfolio. You will plan, prepare and execute environmental investigations and remediation for the Questa Mine and related Chevron sites, leading projects with a focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver results on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field required.
• Two plus years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management and business development or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for clients.
• Manage projects, establish objectives with portfolio manager, and oversee staff and vendors.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and ensure projects meet specifications, budget, and schedule.
• Define project scope and objectives; oversee all phases of projects; support report preparation and reviews.
• Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
