Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Project Geologist to lead environmental remediation and site assessment initiatives in Wilmington, DE. You will supervise field teams, coordinate sampling of groundwater and soils, and prepare regulatory documentation to support project decisions.

The role requires a Geology degree, 5+ years in environmental investigations, and ability to travel. PG certification is preferred and ownership of safety practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience performing environmental investigations and leading field efforts.
• Professional Registration (PG) or ability to obtain within one year is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct field efforts related to environmental investigations including Site Assessments and Remedial Investigations.
• Perform site visits, field observations, and data collection related to environmental cleanup programs.
• Supervise field staff performing sampling of groundwater, soil, and other media.
• Prepare reports, maps, and visual aids to communicate project findings and regulatory recommendations.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to manage project expectations and deliverables.
