Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Consultant to support high-volume environmental services for utility clients in California. The role involves project planning, permitting, compliance monitoring, and technical support services related to biological resources.
The ideal candidate will lead project teams, conduct fieldwork, and prepare technical reports. A Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required. Benefits include competitive pay and flexible work arrangements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years related experience or master's degree may count for professional experience.
- Experience with San Joaquin Valley geographic area preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate environmental projects and programs.
- Lead project teams in renewable energy and oil & gas projects.
- Assist with field work tasks, including surveys and monitoring.
- Plan and prepare technical reports for environmental assessments.
- Liaise with regulators to maintain up-to-date knowledge of requirements.
