OSU Rec Sports - Sport. Leadership. Wellness. at Oregon State University invites applications for fixed-term, non-tenure track Instructor positions to teach Environmental & Occupational Health and Safety courses on a term-by-term basis for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Salary is competitive and will be negotiated with the School Head. Applications are reviewed as needed; some appointments may be renewed or transition to instructional roles at the School Head’s discretion.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, or related field suitable for teaching tasks.
• Experience with modern pedagogical techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences in writing and speech.
• Evident commitment to educational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Teach and administer undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Environmental & Occupational Health and Safety.
• Hold regular office hours to assist students with coursework and answer curriculum questions; may supervise teaching assistants.
