Job summary

Law Firms seeks an Environmental Litigation Associate (Of Counsel) to join its Seattle, WA team. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of federal environmental litigation experience and strong research/writing skills.

You will handle complex matters, develop litigation strategies, draft motions and briefs, and contribute to handling cases involving NEPA, ESA, CWA, CAA and CERCLA across federal court litigation.

I’m currently working with a highly regarded law firm with a sophisticated environmental and natural resources practice that is seeking an experienced Environmental Litigation Associate to join its Seattle team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who wants to work on complex federal environmental litigation involving some of the most significant environmental statutes and regulatory issues affecting businesses, public entities and natural-resource projects.

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex environmental litigation matters in federal court
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings and other litigation documents
• Assist with discovery and case preparation
• Participate in hearings, depositions and other litigation proceedings
• Advise and advocate regarding federal environmental statutes and implementing regulations

Ideal Candidate:

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $185,000 to $225,000. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
