Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned litigation attorney in Denver to lead complex cases from filing to trial. You will manage discovery, depose witnesses, draft motions, and collaborate with senior attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes.

The role requires 10+ years, ABA JD, and active license; environmental/toxic tort and MDL experience preferred. This position is on-site in Denver with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law.
  • 10+ years of experience litigating complex cases.
  • Environmental/Toxic Torts experience preferred.
  • Class action and multidistrict litigation experience.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills with proven success.
  • Proven results in an active litigation role.
  • Experience managing multiple complex cases concurrently.
  • Documented experience preparing and litigating cases from start to finish with urgency.
  • Experience litigating in state and federal courts.
  • Experience managing discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, analyzing produced documents, and managing the discovery flow.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions of plaintiff parties, lay witnesses, experts and corporate witnesses.
  • Hearing and trial experience; excellent oral presentation skills.
  • Reliable, timely completion of tasks.
  • Experience mentoring, managing, and developing junior team members.
  • Compassion in communicating with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to case strategy discussions and share innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.
