Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a J.D. or equivalent by the date of application, or a Ph.D. or equivalent international degree.
• Five years of law teaching experience and the ability to teach at least one first-year required course.
• Demonstrated commitment to equitable, inclusive, and interdisciplinary learning environments.
• Demonstrated interest in environmental law and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Teach environmental law courses and supervise student work in a top law school setting.
• Engage in scholarly research and contribute to Berkeley Law's public mission and institutional goals.
