L&W Recruiting, Inc. is assisting a long-standing New Jersey law firm in Woodbridge to hire an environmental attorney. The role covers a broad environmental practice including litigation, regulatory work, permitting, and transactional matters.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of substantive environmental practice, NJ admission (NY or transferable UBE a plus), and familiarity with ISRA, Spill Act, CERCLA and site remediation. Writing samples may be requested.

A long-standing New Jersey law firm is hiring an environmental attorney in Woodbridge. New Jersey environmental practice is deep and technical, and this seat covers all of it.

The work: environmental litigation in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. Regulatory counseling on compliance, remediation and liability. Permitting. The environmental side of real estate and corporate transactions. Regular appearances before New Jersey agencies, including NJDEP.

Who fits: three or more years of substantive environmental practice, whether litigation, regulatory, permitting or transactional. Admitted in New Jersey; New York admission or a transferable UBE score is a plus. Time in front of New Jersey regulators is a strong plus. Familiarity with ISRA, the Spill Act, CERCLA and site remediation will show in the first conversation. The firm will ask for writing samples.

Pay: $145,000 to $160,000 base. Full benefits.
