Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a Lab Technician to join our environmental testing laboratory in Fort Lauderdale. The role supports scientists by preparing water and soil samples and upholding established procedures.

The position offers Monday through Friday shifts, with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits program for full-time employees. Training is provided to help you grow a laboratory sciences career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves) provided by Pace.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support our Scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow a variety of established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
