Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution required.
• Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• This is a Security Sensitive position and requires a criminal background check.
• Transcripts are required at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock of equipment, supplies, and chemical/bio-hazard waste; track expiration dates.
• Keep inventory records and submit supply requests to the lab manager.
• Maintain and repair equipment; report major issues for replacement.
• Assist in safety procedures and identify potential hazards; dispose of used supplies per regulations.
• Organize lab rooms, clean spills, and manage containers; wash and refill as needed.
• Greet students and staff professionally; perform data entry and maintain records.
• Assist in coordinating troubleshooting between students, instructors, and web services; support faculty with equipment use.
• Attend department meetings and participate in safety training; support recruiting activities.
