Kiewit is offering an Environmental Intern position that supports regulatory research, field exercises at projects, and development of environmental articles while you pursue your degree. You will gain hands-on experience within one of North America’s largest construction and engineering organizations.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in environmental science or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Detail oriented, flexible and highly motivated.

Responsibilities

Support the Environmental department with regulatory research.
Keep abreast of Federal environmental legislation and regulations and conduct regulatory research.
Develop environmental articles for newsletter.
Assist with developing minutes for conference calls and training.
Assist with electronic solutions and data input to track sustainability performance.
Assist with preparation and presentation of environmental training.
Participate in field exercises at projects and conduct vendor reviews.
Inventory for greenhouse gases and participate in sustainability initiatives.
