Job summary

You will contribute to business development, write client proposals, and mentor junior staff. The role emphasizes collaboration, data visualization, and clear communication with foundations and donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with coursework demonstrating analytical skills and writing ability
• 2–4 years professional work experience showing analytical, writing and presentation abilities
• Experience or strong interest in environment-related issue areas (climate change, environmental justice, water, conservation)
• Interest in philanthropy and working with foundations/ donors
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to synthesize information from documents and interviews
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Experience mentoring others and leading trainings is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project tasks on environment-focused client work with minimal supervision
• Synthesize research to identify trends and issues for client projects
• Develop and analyze surveys to inform client reports
• Lead sections of reports and create infographics, charts, and graphs
• Present findings to clients and contribute to client proposals and budgets
• Support business development through research and writing of proposals
• Mentor new analysts and lead training sessions on research skills
