Job summary

2SAFE Consulting, Inc. is seeking an entry-level EHS safety professional with 0–2 years of experience. A Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, fire safety, engineering, or related field is required. The role emphasizes OSHA/EPA knowledge and safety program development.

The candidate will conduct site audits, trainings, and reports while coordinating with clients and regulators across the Tri-State area. Travel across Nassau and Suffolk Counties and NYC is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related discipline is required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards preferred.
• HAZWOP ER Certification or related safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety training on Fall Protection, LO/TO, HAZWOPER Forklift Safety, etc.
• Prepare written reports, gap analyses, and root cause analyses.
• Develop and implement safety programs for clients across industries.
• Independently conduct site audits and inspections.
• Communicate with clients regarding safety and compliance needs.
• Interact with federal, state, and local agencies as needed.

About the Role

Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards, HAZWOPER Certification, OSHA 30 or any other safety training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety training on topics such as Fall Protection, LO/TO, HAZWOPER Forklift Safety, etc.
• Prepare written reports and policies, gap analyses, and root cause analyses.
• Develop and assist with the implementation of safety programs for clients across various industries.
• Independently conduct site audits and inspections.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients regarding safety and compliance needs.
• Interact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, as needed.

• Good organizational, written, and verbal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and EHS/safety management software.
• Ability to wear and work in Level C personal protective equipment.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Reliable access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to travel throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, the New York City boroughs, and the Tri-State area.
