Symrise is seeking an experienced EHS professional to develop and implement safety programs across our plant operations. You will audit compliance, manage incidents, and lead safety initiatives to protect personnel and ensure regulatory adherence.

Development and implement plant procedures involving associate and plant safety
Develop and manage all relevant EHS programs applicable to the site.
Audit plant safety and health program to ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal regulations.
Primary person responsible for SAI360 to include entering and monitoring events and ensuring actions are closed timely.
Conduct safety meetings and ensure that plant personnel are adequately trained in plant safety and health procedures.
Maintain and audit all safety records and inspections to include but not limited to licensed PIT operators, approved company driver list, annual lockout audits, weekly/monthly inspections of ladders, eyewash stations, forklifts & pallet jacks, etc.
Lead Incident and Injury Investigations, guide the team in root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective actions and preventative measures.
Facilitate monthly safety committee meetings.
Maintain and update all Job Safety Analysis & ADA Job Descriptions.
Maintain SDS binders and conduct annual audit of SDSs.
Semi-annual inspections of PFAS equipment.
Manage Contractor Safety Program.
Maintain current knowledge of federal, state and local regulations. Attend seminars, lectures, meetings and professional conferences as required.
Sources and maintains inventory of required safety supplies and PPE.
