Job summary

UW-Superior is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Student Assistant to support inventory and safety operations on campus. You will assist in compiling a physical inventory of laboratory chemicals and use the ChemManager+ software to track items.

You will also participate in safety eyewash and shower activations and perform other EH&S duties as assigned. This role is an hourly student position with a $13.00 per hour wage.

Qualifications

  • Major in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • Knowledge of chemicals/safety when handling chemicals.
  • Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
  • Experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Excel.
