Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Environmental Finance Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of tax credit equity investments and loans. You’ll monitor performance, manage risk, review financing requests, and coordinate with counsel and internal teams to ensure compliance and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• Typically Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically six or more years of related experience.
• Proven credit management, underwriting and financial analysis skills.
• Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and analysis of proforma financial statements.
• Understanding of renewable energy project management and energy markets.
• Experience with complex, structured transactions and deal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operating agreements, other legal documents, and financial statements relating to investments.
• Review budgets, financial statements, guarantor statements, audits, tax returns and annual compliance reports.
• Perform monthly forecasting regarding tax credit delivery, benefits, fees and equity contributions.
• Monitor portfolio with quarterly risk assessments and portfolio reviews.
• Prepare underwriting packages for restructuring or modification of investments and advocate for credit approval.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure investments are booked and monitored.
• Present investment status and risk strategies to senior management and credit officers.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, AML, BSA and related policies.
