Job summary

Alliance Technical Group in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Environmental Field-Testing Technician to gain hands-on experience in environmental services. You will travel to client sites in the region, conduct stack emissions testing, and learn on the job while working outdoors.

Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour with overtime and quarterly profit-sharing bonuses. A degree in environmental, engineering, or mechanical sciences, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work at heights are preferred.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Enjoy outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders and work at elevated heights.
• Degree in environmental, engineering, or mechanical sciences preferred.
• Environmental/sample collection or related experience helpful.
• Familiar with MS Office Suite and Adobe products.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and use dexterous tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site stack emissions testing and prepare/deploy equipment.
• Follow test methods and quality procedures for source testing.
• Troubleshoot testing systems with mechanical and electrical skills.
• Transport testing equipment to customer sites and handle setup.
