Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Technician to support field services across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Lower New York. The role involves groundwater, soil, and vapor sampling, site inspections, and oversight of subcontractors as part of our Environmental field services team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of environmental field experience, OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will have 1+ years of environmental field experience.
• Ability to read and understand scopes of work with limited supervision.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Groundwater, soil, and vapor sampling.
• Implementation of field activities including permit compliance sampling, well development/repair, and waste management.
• Remediation system operation, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Site inspections.
• Oversight of subcontractors to perform operations.
• Remedial action field support such as in-situ injection and source removal.
