Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Orlando, Florida is seeking an Environmental Technician to support field sampling and data collection on environmental projects.

The role involves groundwater, surface water, soil and air sampling, daily data recording, and helping manage subcontractors while adhering to safety guidelines. Travel throughout Central Florida is possible, basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills are a plus, and the position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a path to learn other

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science background is a plus.
• 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training would be a plus.
• Must be a team player with good attention to detail.
• Able to walk on slopes and uneven terrain; outdoor work in heat.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs; travel as needed.
• Able to perform math calculations and pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundwater, surface water, soil and air sampling using multiple methods.
• Data gathering and record keeping; monitor and direct subcontractors.
• Operate and maintain environmental remediation equipment; travel to sites.
