A-Tech Consulting, Inc. in Kent, WA seeks a seasoned Washington Environmental Field Technician to support environmental assessments, clearance testing, and monitoring across the Greater Tacoma Area.

You will apply EPA/OSHA guidelines, work with advanced instrumentation like XRF analyzers and phase-contrast microscopes, and ensure precise data entry into Enviroshare while coordinating with clients and abatement teams.

Qualifications

• Proven field experience in environmental health and safety, with specific skills in using analytical equipment.
• Strong knowledge base in EPA and OSHA regulations, particularly around hazardous materials like asbestos, lead, and mold.
• Required certifications: EPA Asbestos Building Inspector, EPA Asbestos Contractor Supervisor, Washington Lead Sampling, and NIOSH 582 equivalency.
• The ability to travel extensively across project sites and effectively communicate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental assessments, clearance testing, and monitoring at project sites.
• Apply Washington State and federal regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Manage data entry into Enviroshare and oversee project documentation.
• Operate XRF analyzers and phase-contrast microscopes to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Engage with clients, abatement teams, and stakeholders to meet quality standards.
