Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Planning and Permitting team in Kentucky. The role focuses on natural resources surveys, including wetland and stream delineations, and managing Section 404/401 permits under the Clean Water Act.

You will participate in field visits and prepare technical reports documenting findings and project status. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field with at least 1

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field with 1 year of related experience, or 5 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Wetland delineation experience.
Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
Perform site visits, field observations, and data collection.
Conduct wetland and stream delineations per regulatory guidelines.
Analyze data and prepare detailed reports documenting findings.
Support Environmental Planning, NEPA, ESAs, and related services as-needed.
Assist senior scientists and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Work outside in various weather conditions.
Provide support for other Terracon service areas in the Eastern Midwest division.
