Job summary

Onterris, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Field Project Manager to lead stack testing field operations in Elk Grove Village, IL. The role focuses on managing field teams, schedules and regulatory communications while ensuring safety and data quality.

This position requires hands-on testing experience and strong independent work capabilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in stack testing, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years minimum of stack testing experience.
  • QSTI credentials a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established testing methods to support reliable source testing.
  • Manage logistics of project resources with the logistics manager and office managers prior to the field test.
  • Manage onsite schedule and coordinate with client plant contacts and regulatory contacts concerning scope changes.
  • Oversee daily field operational and safety aspects of the site-specific stack programs.
  • Responsible for data review and field quality control.
  • Lead, train and mentor field team personnel.

You’ll need at least 2+ years of experience of source testing and welcome the opportunity to make an impact from day one.The compensation range for this role is $27hr to $38hr.To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:* Follow established testing methods, procedures, and processes to help support consistent and reliable source testing* Manage logistics of the project resources by organizing resources with the logistics manager and office managers prior to the field test* Manage the onsite schedule and coordinate with the client plant contacts and regulatory contacts concerning scope changes* Manage all daily field operational and safety aspects of the site-specific stack programs.* Responsible for data review and field quality control* Ensure the field test team is staffed appropriately for all tasks and lead, train and mentor field team personnel# **Your Expertise and Skills**These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.* Capacity for overnight and local travel for multi-weekday projects up to **75%** of the time or more* 2+ years minimum of stack testing experience.
