Job summary

Onterris is seeking an Environmental Field Project Manager - Stack to lead field testing at client sites, manage test teams, and coordinate with plant and regulatory contacts. The role requires 2+ years of stack testing experience and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

You will ensure safety, data quality, and regulatory compliance while mentoring field staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.

A Day in the Life

As an Environmental Field Project Manager - Stack, you'll be responsible for acting as the field management for the test team, plant contacts, regulatory contacts. You'll need at least 2+ years of experience of source testing and welcome the opportunity to make an impact from day one. The compensation range for this role is $27hr to $38hr.

• Follow established testing methods, procedures, and processes to help support consistent and reliable source testing
• Manage logistics of the project resources by organizing resources with the logistics manager and office managers prior to the field test
• Manage the onsite schedule and coordinate with the client plant contacts and regulatory contacts concerning scope changes
• Manage all daily field operational and safety aspects of the site‑specific stack programs. Responsible for data review and field quality control
• Ensure the field test team is staffed appropriately for all tasks and lead, train and mentor field team personnel

Your Expertise and Skills

• Capacity for overnight and local travel for multi‑weekday projects up to 75% of the time or more
• 2+ years minimum of stack testing experience.
• QSTI Credentials a plus
• Intermediate knowledge in applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation
• Flexibility is a must as the position may require weekend travel or work for a few projects during the year
• Transferable experience: laborer, construction, industrial maintenance, mechanical, laboratory, environmental, field science, etc.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in outdoor industrial settings, including climbing to and working on elevated platforms (50ft - 300ft) in accordance with OSHA/ANSI and other applicable safety standards
• Must be able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting heavy materials up to 50 pounds
• Often works outdoors and may be exposed to hot and cold environments and extreme weather conditions, including sunlit, rainy and windy conditions
• Sitting, standing, and walking
