Job summary

Onterris Payroll is seeking an Environmental Field Project Manager - Stack to lead field management for the test team, plant and regulatory contacts. You’ll need 2+ years of stack testing experience and must be able to travel up to 75% for multi-week projects.

The role requires coordinating testing methods, logistics, scheduling, and safety across field sites while reviewing data and mentoring the team. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Roanoke area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of stack testing experience.
• QSTI credentials a plus.
• Regulatory knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and random drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation.
• Overnight and local travel up to 75% of the time or more.
• Transferable experience: laborer, construction, industrial maintenance, mechanical, laboratory, environmental, field science, etc.

Responsibilities

• Follow established testing methods, procedures and processes to ensure reliable source testing.
• Manage logistics of project resources with the logistics manager and office managers prior to field test.
• Coordinate onsite schedule with client plant contacts and regulatory contacts regarding scope changes.
• Oversee daily field operations and safety aspects of site-specific stack programs.
• Review data and perform field quality control.
• Ensure field test team is staffed and train/mentor field personnel.
