Job summary

Engineering Consulting Service seeks an Environmental Assistant Staff Project Manager to support fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and project coordination within environmental consulting projects in the Kentucky region. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology or related field.
• 0 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with groundwater, soil, and media sampling investigations.
• Support boring layouts and evaluate site access with oversight.
• Assist with remediation system installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Support underground storage tank (UST) assessments.
• Document site conditions and communicate findings to supervisors.
• Interact and collaborate with staff on environmental projects.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff and participate in project discussions.
• Interface with contractors, clients, and site personnel during field activities.
• Communicate daily with project teams and keep supervisors informed of site conditions and project needs.
• Implement field tasks and project activities as directed by senior staff.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and oversight of environmental technicians.
• Support project setup and implementation under supervision.
• Collect, document, and report field observations accurately.
• Assist with environmental sampling, data collection, and analysis.
• Support preparation of reports, calculations, and project documentation.
• Participate in project coordination, including tracking tasks and deliverables.
• Assist with proposal preparation and project planning activities.
• Perform additional technical and project support duties as assigned
