State of Montana's Department of Environmental Quality seeks an Environmental Field Inspector to conduct sanitary surveys, field investigations, and monitor public water supplies in Billings. The role includes training drinking water operators, offering technical assistance, and identifying contamination sources with corrective action reports.

The position offers a career ladder and pay progression, with telework limited by supervisor approval. E-Verify and I-9 processes apply upon hire.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, engineering, environmental health field practices, or a related field.
• Three years of program related work experience.
• Current valid Driver's License and clean driving record in accordance with State of Montana Vehicle Use Policy
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.

Mansioni

• Perform sanitary survey inspections and other field investigations.
